The first review is in!

Well, it's been a busy last month..and obviously I don't always do so great at posting regularly :o) But, the book is finished and finally at the printers! It will be available in the states in August, and available in Europe/Australia in June.  I was also told of the possibility of a big Italian publisher, who is interested in translating the book and offering it there :o) all exciting!

But the subject heading refers to the fact that this morning I received an email from the publicist at Fox Chapel, who let me know the first review is in - from a gentleman who works in the Virginia County library system, who posted the review on NetGalley.com, a website where publishers can list some of their new offerings for booksellers, reviewers and librarians to read and review.

This is what he had to say:
"Wonderful textbook style work long overdue for this genre of fascinating and engrossing art form.  Kirk manages to cover practically everything; from form to art history to materials, even travelling.  Should be required reading for inspiring, student street artists, as well as good idea openers for the seasoned veteran. "
